“He was an integral member of MECC Consulting, a multidisciplinary pro-bono student-consulting organization dedicated to positively impacting their clients through semester-long projects. Vishnu served as a project manager, consultant, and advisor during his time as a member of MECC Consulting and helped in numerous projects, including one that won third place at the Wharton Undergraduate Healthcare Conference.
Vishnu also cared deeply for his fellow students. He was a cofounding member and program director of the student group called incoMing, a by-students-for-students mentorship program. Vishnu primarily wrote the algorithm of incoMing Michigan to match Freshmen to Mentees, to provide incoming students with connections and guidance from experienced college students.
Vishnu also was a passionate researcher and had a strong interest in deep learning applications for Healthcare. During his time at Michigan, he served as an undergraduate research assistant at Michigan Medicine, working on generating Synthetic CT scans from MRI images using deep learning through the UROP research program. “
